Eating enough is essential for brain function. When our brain is not properly fueled, we cannot regulate our emotions. Our needs in winter months are also especially high due to colder weather, our bodies work extra hard to keep us warm. It takes energy to feel confident, passionate, interested, excited, joyful, content. Without adequate energy, we default to anxiety, depression, apathy and social isolation. Sometimes it is that simple, eat and you will feel better.
