It’s time to make peace with food.

  • Do you feel out of control with the way you eat?

  • Are you often consumed by guilt with the way you eat?

  • Have you noticed something has gone wrong with your loved ones and their relationship with food?

Nutrition Counselling for

Disordered Eating and Eating Disorders

Nutrition counselling is critical in getting you “unstuck” in unhealthy eating patterns. It can help guide you towards the path of re-nourishment, normalized eating, and most importantly- food freedom.

If you or your loved ones are struggling with an eating disorder, over-restriction in food intake, binge eating, yo-yo dieting, or persistent guilt and shame with the way you eat, then it’s time to get help.

A specialized dietitian can help provide:

-          Evaluation in nutritional deficiencies and unhealthy food and weight related behaviours

-          Education on evidenced-based nutrition, balanced eating, diet and weight myths, intuitive eating and mindful eating principles

-          Exploration into the emotion connections related to food, these insights can be valuable for a therapist or psychiatrist working in conjunction to nutrition therapy to resolve emotional underpinnings of disordered behaviours

-          Partnership in addressing unhelpful beliefs about food and weight

-          Customized meal plan to meet specific nutrition needs

-          Nutrition counselling in mechanical and structured eating

-          Meal support tools for caregivers of younger clients

-          Caregivers coaching to support their loved ones with an eating disorder or suspected eating disorder

-          Any additional relevant evidence-based resources for families and clients

We also offer nutrition counseling for other nutrition concerns.
